Get Involved - Support the Campaign

 

At the moment there are two main ways in which everyone can support the campaign.

 

1) Sign up!



Everyone can sign our to make sure the Government knows the extent of the concern aboutthe proposals.

2) Write to your MP!



Please use Write To Them   to email your MP on behalf of the campaign. Just put your postcode into the form on thefront page and your MP's details will come up.

 

Write To Them does not allow generic emails to be sent and in any event personal emails are much more effective. However, as well as explaining why you are personally concerned about theproposals, please make sure your message includes the following:

• That you are writing as a supporter of the Every Child In Need campaign
• That you share the campaign's concerns about the proposals to remove minimum standards in relation to assessments of children in need in the current Department for Education consultation onrevised safeguarding statutory guidance
• That you want your MP to write to the Secretary of State, Michael Gove MP, to express your concerns about these proposals and ask him to meet with representatives of the Every Child In Needcampaign
• That your MP should forward any response to you (provide your email address) and to the campaign (at )
