Our response to the DfE's consultation is available on our Home page.
Our campaign meeting and launch event took place on Thursday 26th June 2012 at Doughty Street Chambers. This event saw a packed hall discussing how the government's proposals would impact on a wide range of different groups ofchildren 'in need'. Particular concern was raised about the impact on disabled children, homeless teenagers and children who have been victims of trafficking if minimum timescales for assessments areremoved and the guidance focusses solely on children at risk of significant harm.
